We use Q-Gifts for all of our custom t-shirts and merchandise needs!
No. We do not offer prices or 'base prices' on our website due to the fact that every costume requires it's own pricing range. To properly give you an accurate pricing quote, we need to know some key specifics of your costume needs. Please visit the 'Place an Order' page for information on quotes and getting one from us.
YES. We require all customers to be 18 years of age or older, for obvious reasons.
Yes. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for ALL orders. This secures you a place in line and some materials needed for your project.
Checks, money orders, or paypal (note, a paypal fee of 5% is required for each paypal payment). Concealed cash is accepted, but please use caution when shipping.
After the deposit is made, you may pay in as many increments and values (however - please no payments under $100) as you would like as long as the entire cost is paid by the 1st of the month that your costume is due.
Yes! However, there may be limitations due to other orders. When you submit for a quote, I will reply with your quote along with a list of currently available months.
If you need your costume for a specific time (convention/event/ect) please make sure that we agree on that date when you agree on the quote given. Otherwise I cannot promise completion deadlines down the line. Note that your payment deadline may change depending on your desired completion deadline.
After coming to an agreement on the timeline of the project, changes to the deadline are at the discretion of the maker. You may request a change through the contact form but we reserve the right to deny any changes.
YES. 3-view concept art is required for us to be able to render your costume as close to your specifications as possible. Also, if ordering a full costume, please make sure your concept character is not obstructed by clothing or accessories. All concept art must be a PG rating. If you need to commission some concept art, visit the list of artists we've worked up to help you out!
Duct-tape Dummies (or DtDs) are required for full suit costumes. They are to ensure that your finished product fits you as well as possible.
In a sense, they are a duct tape cast made over your own body which allows us to make a body suit that fits your exact dimensions. While sometimes they sound a little complex, it actually can be a fun and easy task for you to assign a few friends to. (Make sure these are people you TRUST, of course!) We helped our friends over at Mixed Candy make an excellent tutorial (link to http://www.mixedcandy.com/dtd.html ) Note that we require two things outside of this tutorial. a. Tape halfway up your neck. b. Tape ALL incisions you make closed before you send it to us. Please send your duct tape dummy no sooner or later than the month before your completion month. If you fail to provide us with a duct tape dummy in the month before, you may not receive your costume on time.
We use all synthetic materials, including faux furs made of plastics.
You may consult us on furs you would like to use, but please know that many types of furs that are of lower quality and unusable for costumes. There may be instances where color-matching must be sacrificed for quality.
Yes, though extra shipping rates may (read: will) apply.
All our costumes come with a standard 60-day natural-wear warranty, which covers popped/ripped seams, detaching parts, etc. Things not covered? Accidental damage (sticking your costume in a hot dryer cycle, unnatural stains, loss, pets, improper storage).
After the warranty period, we can make repairs for a small fee+shipping.
Well, yes and no. When your costume is completed, detailed pictures will be sent your way for approval. If changes need to be made, we will do our best to make the appropriate fixes. We will handle more serious concerns on a case-by-case basis.
